José M. Carreira is Medical Doctor since 1983 and received the Ph.D. degree in 1991 from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). Between 1993 and 1998 he worked as vascular and interventional radiologist with Prof. Manuel Maynar at the University Hospital of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). Since 1998 he is a professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela and his main research interests are focused on the peripheral vascular imaging analysis and the vascular intervention.
