Luis Gomez received the Ph.D. degree in telecommunication engineering in 1992, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Since 1994, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering and Automatic (DIEA), University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He is currently Associate Editor of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters. His research interests include image processing (computer vision), remote sensing for SAR, and polarimetric SAR (PolSAR).
