Pedro Henríquez has received an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC, SPAIN), in 2008 and 2013, respectively. He has been awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Award, and the Best Thesis Prize for the Engineering and Architecture field, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and the Best Thesis Award in the Engineering field from the Fundación La Caja de Canarias. He has participated in several national and European projects, and he has been a post-doctoral researcher in the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan, UK), as a member of the team led by Prof. Lik-Kwan Shark and Prof. Bogdan Matusezweski. His main research interest areas are video processing, lens distortion model estimation, camera calibration, features detection, tracking and 3D reconstruction.
