Description:

Nelson Monzón received the M.S. degree in Computer Science, the M.Ed. degree in media and technology, the M.S. degree in intelligent systems and numerical applications in engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2017 respectively. He also obtained several certifications in Agile Methodologies. 


Since 2011, he is a member of the Imaging Technology Center. Currently, he is also a Postdoctoral Researcher and Software Engineer at the group ‘Centre de Mathématiques et de Leurs Applications’ (CMLA) in the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (Paris) led by professor Jean-Michel Morel.


His main research interest areas are related to optical flow, stereoscopic vision and video denoising. Besides, he is also interested in software development and agile methodologies, topic in which he is official professor of the Scrum Manager organization.
