Esther González has received a M.Sc. in Computer Science in 1991 and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2008, both from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas, Spain). Between 1996 and 2008 she worked as senior lecturer at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and since then she is a professor at the same University (ULPGC). Her main research interest areas are the applications of mathematical analysis to computer vision and biometry.
