José Miguel Santana Núñez has a Master’s degree in Computational Engineering by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain. He received his PhD in the field of Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence by the ULPGC in 2017. His research interests are focused on the visualization and analysis of geographical information, with special emphasis on the relationship of these areas with mobile technologies. Since 2011 Dr. Santana has been working on projects related to Geographical Information Systems and Data Visualization in collaboration with the Center of Image Technologies (CTIM) and the Instituto Universitario de Microelectrónica Aplicada (IUMA).
