Julio Esclarín received the M.Sc. degree in mathematics from Zaragoza University, Spain, in 1979, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Spain, in 1996. Since 1998, he has been a Tenured Lecturer at ULPGC. His main research interests are the applications of mathematical analysis to computer visión and medical imaging.
