The paper, "Anisotropic Weighted KS-NLM Filter for Noise Reduction in MRI", by, B. Kanoun, M. Ambrosanio, F. Baselice, G. Ferraioli, V. Pascazio and L. Gómez, has been accepted for publication in the Journal IEEE-Access (DOI: 10.1109/ACCESS.2020.3029297).

This paper is the result of the three months research stay by B. Kanoun in the CTIM/ULPGC. During this stay, B. Kanoun has been researching under the co-guidance of Dr. Luis Gomez on image denoising for MRI data and finishing his doctoral thesis (presented in 2020 in Naples) . From that colaboration, the existing research links with the Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie, Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, Napoli (Italy) were strongly consolidated.
