On Friday 13th, Bilel Kanoun will give a talk regarding MRI denoising. In this talk, state-of of the art of some most relevant Works in the MRI denoising area will be addressed. Then, the main ideas of new filtering approaches will be illustrated and also future perspectives will be considered.

Bilel Kanoun is a Ph.D. candidate from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, Naples, Italy. He is currently carrying out a three-month research stay with Prof. Luis Gomez, director of CTIM center, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. During his stay, he has been working on projects related to noise despeckling of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data and Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) denoising.

This talk will be held in Sala de Teleenseñanza de la EITE (Escuela de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación y Electrónica), Friday 13th, December, 9:00-10:00.
