Accepted paper in ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

The paper, “Characterization and modeling of power line corridor elements from LiDAR point clouds”, by Sebastián Ortega, Agustín Trujillo, José Miguel Santana, José Pablo Suárez and Jaisiel Santana, has been accepted for publication in ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, official publication of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS). According to the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), the journal has a 2017 impact factor of 5.994.
In this article, the authors introduce a methodology to classify and model power lines from airborne LiDAR point clouds, considering all the different elements in a power line: pylon, insulator strain, bridge, shield wire, and conductor.
